It all started with a sleepless night.
As Karan tossed and turned in his bed, staring up at his ceiling, unable to fall asleep, he couldn't help but think back to the last time he had experienced truly blissful sleep.
It was on a recent vacation, when he stayed in a hotel with a bed so comfortable that he slept snug as a bug every night.
“Why can’t we have the same level of comfort at home?”, he thought to himself as he recalled this time.
Was it the way the housekeepers tucked the sheets? Or the monstrous bouncy beds? Perhaps, the fatigue from touristing around all day?
These were some of thoughts that kept him up all night.
As Karan spiraled among these questions, he began his voyage of researching the science of sleep, learning everything he could about the factors that contributed to a good night’s rest. He soon realised there was a lot more to sleep than just a comfortable bed. The right combination of materials, craftsmanship, design, and support made all the difference.
That’s when he met his co-founder, Dakshita, a sleep expert with a medical background who shared the very same passion to help people achieve snugglier, comfier, rejuvenated sleep. Together, they set out to create a line of products that would offer everything one truly cherishes about sleep.

Finally, following months of hard work, Snug and Sleep was born. After working tirelessly, researching, and testing different materials and designs, Karan and Dakshita knew they had to create something truly special, and they were not willing to compromise on quality or comfort. The kind of comfort you can’t fit in a box.
Was it their mission to revolutionize the mattress industry by giving the world a new jargon?
